03/30-31/12: Bishop Sevastianos of Zela leads Archon Lenten Retreat

The ninth annual Archon Lenten Retreat was led by His Grace Bishop Sevastianos of Zela, held March 30-31, 2012. The retreat focused on "Homecoming" with reflections, studies and teachings on the biblical narrative of the Prodigal Son. It was held at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the United States in Somerset, NJ and organized by National Council member Peter Skeadas, chairman of the Archon Spirituality Committee, along with Archon John Halecky. Nearly 50 Archons attended the two-day retreat which commenced on Friday evening. The next day, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated, followed by morning and afternoon sessions led by His Grace. Later that afternoon, His Eminence Metropolitan Evangelos of New Jersey also visited and joined sessions. (Photos by A. Limberakis and J. Mindala)
